Mark Peabody is a Kingston-based artist with deep roots in Canadian studio craft and design. A graduate of OCAD University, he gained recognition in the late 1980s and early 1990s for his innovative functional metalwork, including a prize-winning coffee/tea service exhibited at the Ontario Crafts Council and a solo show, Self Contained, at The Craft Gallery in Toronto.

For over thirty years, Mark channeled his design expertise into Mark Peabody Custom Builder, creating custom homes and earning acclaim for sensitive heritage restorations across the Kingston region, including multiple awards from the Frontenac Heritage Foundation.

Now fully focused on his studio practice, Mark is producing new work that reflects a lifetime of craftsmanship, material exploration, and refined design sensibility. He lives and works in Kingston, Ontario, where he continues to support the local arts community.
